6 wheel bogie CCU

Post by Dave S »

Does anyone know of a CCU for 6 wheel bogies? 5'10 1/2" centres would be ideal.

If not I'll have to go to "Plan B"....or "C".

I've just found 11'9 GNR 6-wheeled Bogie Frame - 4mm BBK1180-4 at Eileens.

No idea how I missed them first time around.

I've just had a look, I think you might mean the Cleminson 6W etch.

I was looking for a 6W coach bogie (12W stock)

What stock are you looking for it for? Mark Tatlow has an ECJS one in preparation.

GN/ECJS 6 W bogies.

For some reason I had it in my head that there wasn't any as Dan's kits aren't available

I've made patterns to cast some sides/axle detail and was going to see about getting something etched, I'm still thinking about the compensation and might trial a few things first if I go down the self etch route.
