What's a good kit for getting into brass/white metal locomotive construction

No Chassis kit that I know of, Easy enough to scratch a chassis out of 2 brass strips and some spacers or if you're not comfortable with metal try it in styrene, doesn't matter if it takes a couple of goes.

There was a Crownline chassis and detailing kit for that very loco, if you can track one down.
