Using Hornby's Railroad Tornado to model the Timken fitted A1s (60531-60537)

Post by Nova »

I've been pondering for awhile about using the Hornby railroad model of Tornado to model the A1s fitted with Timken roller bearings (specifically Great Central and Great Eastern). Tender aside , which can be substituted for a Bachmann Riveted tender bodyshell is there any other differences between Tornado and the Timken fitted batch that I should be aware of when attempting to tackle this project?
