Luggage/milk van last livery

Post by gobbler »

Hello again, another scratch building project on the go, this time it's a GNR elliptical roof milk/luggage van.

I need to find out what colours this van was painted on the last years of its service

Hello, apologies for not sending a note sooner.

I have a good picture of E404E a Dia 310 Milk Van, the vehicle appears to be ex Works 1955....Sides and ends appear to be either Crimson or Maroon, no lining. The underframe and bogies are Black. The picture is from Lens of Sutton via RS Carpenter. ref C2478. The vehicle only has the number on the side no "MILK" labelling

I hope this is of help.
