Quick update.

Revised B3/2 etch design now in hand and to be submitted to etchers with estimated 4-6 week turn round for a further test build of the revised parts.

Meanwhile, the camboxes will be a 3D print. Have seen a first test print which had a dimensional error but otherwise looks OK.

You can PM Graham Nicholas (LNER4479) on this forum, or message me and I'll pass it on, or just post what you want here and I'll make sure it gets to him.

How is the project coming along? Just discovered this and I am quite interested in it.

It has gone a bit quiet - I guess Graham has more pressing concerns at the moment!

Now then - don't all fall off your chairs at once but:

Boiler test etch completed! Call it a(nother) New Year's resolution. Just sent off feedback to the designer (Nick Easton) but basically it's OK so, with two very minor tweaks, I've asked for an initial run of 10 such boilers, which should satisfy current, known orders. Plenty of Graeme's resin boilers in stock so should now be able to offer a choice of either going forward.

Now dropped on to the B3/2 test etch ...

Two, please, if you can! - one for the B3/2, and the other to replace the resin one on the earlier B3.

Cheers!
