Mystery Loco

Post by Iron Duke »

While clearing out a relative's loft I came across this rather battered Loco.
Although probably not LNER, can anyone throw light on what it might represent?
There are some other bits too, so if there is perhaps interest in seeing them, I am happy to post them.
Thanks in anticipation!

Looks like an attempt to create a model LNWR 2-4-0 tank.

be interesting to see whether there is a manufacturers mark anywhere.

can you offer a list of other bits please?

It would probably be easier if I take a few photographs and post them here?
I'm not sure if it's acceptable to post non LNER images on this thread though Paul?

Thanks for your thoughts. Can't see a manufacturers mark anywhere...
I've taken a few snaps of other items that have turned up with the Loco.
I don't know too much about model railways but hope you find them interesting.
There are other items but I've not photographed them yet.

The last image is of a K's 4mm scale whitemetal kit for a GER Sand Wagon. You don't offer a likely scale for the other bits and pieces, though clearly they range from Treble 0 through TT upwards.
