Far more interesting for me at least are new Coaches which appear in the photos to have correct Tumblehome and a decent teak finish , time will tell !!

Totally agree John & 65447, they look like the same carriages to me, when they were first introduced Hornby said there was no money to alter them, only the full brake was modified.

The A3 doesn't appear to have any remedial work done. The running plate still parting company with the front end of the firebox producing the s bend first seen on Book Law. The ski jump appears to be straightened by photo touchup, looks to me that the straightening occurs at the front of the cylinders, similar result obtained by judicious bending of the front end, worked on Book Law for me anyway (my eyes could be faulty though). They haven't found the nicer valve gear yet either, the expansion link hanger still has the fat top chord.
I'm hopeful that this is one of those pre-production, not quite right efforts as I'm quite interested in the pre 1928 Flying Scotsman due later this year. Fingers crossed.
