Bachmann C1
Has anyone taken delivery of their Bachmann C1? Any views on it?

Re: Bachmann C1
Don't believe the Bachmann catalogue version - as opposed to their first run of NRM exclusives - has been released yet? Personally I would be very surprised if it differed significantly in general terms from the NRM LNER release, and would naturally also be
interested in reading owner's opinions. (I mightily like the NRM release that I have, especially for its pulling ability with Hornby's rather fine QoS cars. I cannot be the only one rather amazed that we can model a pretty authentic late 1920's express that ran on the LNER, with no more effort than a wave of the credit card and tipping the resulting purchases out of the box.)

Foul up

Re: Bachmann C1
It is on Hatton's list of new releases that have arrived in the last week, so looks as if it has just arrived.

My NRM version amazingly hauls 7 old TrixTwin tinplate Pullmans - all rather heavy.
And that is on a layout with gradients.
