Mousa Models

Post by billbedford »

I've just put up a new website, and the idea of this one is that it will only contain models that I can produce in a reasonable time.

There is a redirect from the original site, but it may give a 404 if you are expecting a particular page.

That's a coincidence Bill. I was looking at your "old" website a couple of days ago, finding that the page that once related to etched 6 wheeled carriages had disappeared. That left me wondering whether there's still any possibility, should anybody want them, of getting etched kits for MS&L / GCR 6 wheelers from you, and if so at what sort of price and how long it might take. Can you advise please?

I've withdrawn all the old etches mainly because the etcher's delivery is around 4-6 weeks. Once their delivery comes back to what passes for normal I'll decide what to do with them.

I have great plans, but so little time.

There's never enough time for all of my "good ideas" either. I suspect that's a near universal finding for those with active minds.

It might be nice if the possibility of MS&L / GCR 6 wheelers remained open, even if only a basic selection such as 2B8 full-third and a brake third were on offer.

All the variations of the O7 are on the new site. I started the drawing of the O8, but not got very far with it yet.

Do these variations include the 05 which I think you used to do. The one with the fatter boiler?

They are variations on the O4/7 - three different smokeboxes, two domes and whether a vac injector is fitted.

The O4/5 is also available.

You cab check the page for yourself

Just a quick heads up.

I've put up a new web page that allows downloading lists of most of the coach etches that were sold under the Bill Bedford Models label. Anything in these pages can be made to special order, at least initially.

Hi Bill
Thank you for this.....some very interesting kits on the list.

Can I just check something please. Are these etches for sides, end, underframe etc? Or are they sides only?

Thanks
Jon
