Campling's drawing of Dia 171, Twin Open Thirds tourist stock shows a 8' 6" bogie.

I found some drawings of the Silver Jubilee stock which says that here the 8' 6" bogie was changed to a 10' 0" bogie in November 1937.

Thank you Peter

I'll go with 8'6" ones

Now to figure a way of making the 3D printed ones work as such, from Isinglass

Ask Andrew at Isinglass about the artic connectors he uses, he might well be able to sell a set or two.

In case anyone is tempted to buy from Marc Models I would recomend not to , the owner Mike Radford in 2018 had Dementia ordrers not arriving etc etc . No updates on the site either since then. Buyer beware, the site should have been closed then.

Shouldn't be any problem since Andy sells a 4mm kit for an Articulated Twin...

Hi Brian,

I've been building a pair in 7mm scale. The centre bogie was 8'6" Heavyweight and the outer bogies were 8'6" standard version.

Thanks Vernon

I have complied a list of what I need, and asked Andrew for a price

Had some interesting emails with regards couplings too

Once I have this festive season out the way, and I can get access to my work bench again, I will have a look at starting

Going to break myself back in first on a smaller project as it's been a while
