LNER diagram 162 1938 Push pull coaches

Post by 52D sub shed »

Good day all,

Would any body be able to help with a couple of queries please?
1 A picture or drawing of the roof layout of diagram 162 1938?
2. Did these ever run singly or always one each end of the Loco?

Your help would be appreciated, having got the roof right I would hate to drill holes for the ventilators in the wrong place

Regards

LNER diagram 162 was one half of a twin sleeper.

If this was an ex-NER coach, remember that all P&P coaches were converted from existing coaches. Roof furniture was not changed in the conversion so reference to the original diagram will give you the information you need.
