Cream colour

Post by Cutter »

Does anyone here know what colour the cream used by the LNER on tourist stock and railcars was? I am in the US and cannot obtain Precision paints. I have been using Xtracolor Deep Cream, which represents BS353, and appears too yellow to my eyes. The hex code or RGB values for something close to the LNER colour would be much appreciated!

Based on the very inaccurate method of taking a sample of Precision P64 Coach Cream, scanning it without automatic colour correction, then opening in a graphics program and measuring the rgb value: 236,222,161

Much appreciated Mike--and far more akin to accuracy than anything I have attempted!
