Mick are these the MARC Models kits? Whose roofs are you using? I have some brass ones with mine but they don't fit that well.

Hi
A new source Bleathwood Models . The roofs are from 247 Developments you add the interior from below then the floor/chassis. They are now primed without any problems. I will post another picture of the interior assembly.

They look good Mick.
Did the seats come with the kit? Its always nice to see a new supplier on the scene. What else do they do - I tried Googling them but without any result.

Sorry for all the questions.

A repainted Hornby Mallard teamed with a Hornby NRM version Flying Scotsman Corridor Tender using Precision Donacster Green paint and HMRS Lining and numbers. No doubt Hornby will bring one out now !!

Mick: I bet as soon as you exhibit that loco, someone tells you the black/green dividing line on the smokebox is the wrong shape! :-)

Richard (who knows better: most were curved like the Garter Blue locos, but a few were straight for a short while)

Silver Jubilee Coaches done just await gangway connectors.

Made a start on a 247 LNER TPO today . You only get the sides I am using a MJT floor/roof and other parts for the underframe and bogies.

Now the current build of the TPO. Had a few problems with the length of the Net side as too short plus the net etch is too high for the roof . Length sorted with spacing the parts slightly further apart, the net section will have 1mm removed tomorrow. Ends have had detail added from microstrip as supplied the TPO etch is sides only. Body has been sat on its bogies for the pictures

Hi Mick,

I have a scratch built Sentinel Rail Car with a Triang Motor bogie. I will replace it with the Black beetle next year. What size did you use? Was it the 31mm wheelbase?

The Silver Jubilee looks good, you may have seen mine in the October edition of BRM. What did/are you going to use between the articulated coaches? I thought I might try either a sponge material or polythene bag (rubbish bag) and paint it.

keep it coming. I should try to post a photo sometime when I learn how to.
