Nice one Mick. Very reassuring to see that somebody else can make the resin front marry up successfully to the Hornby body.

Lovely model as always Mick. I wonder how many models Graeme’s amazing creativity has spawned?

Merry Christmas to you and all on the Forum.🎄

Thompson always did like to make things awkward.

Festive felicitations all round!

The Heljan O2/3 this is simply the worse r.t.r for actual overall quality including design etc etc, I have owned for a number of years.

Chimney replaced with a Gibson B1 version , valve gear repaired (twice), numerous parts repaired glued back on and replaced as missing when bought secondhand. Resprayed ,numbering and weathered. Loco Number chosen because Yeadon mentions he saw her at Hull Sheds, near enough to the North east to justify me owning one.

A few wagon off the pile.

Following Graeme's lead from a few years ago . Hornby Refrigerator Vans two Kit Kat vans , one back to LNER Livery with etched ladders, roof rails, new buffers and wheels, one has Parkside chassis and other original which was of the "correct" type.

Then a H&BR based version using a Prime Pork marked van as a base. This has had the sides planked flush, new wood chassis and wheels.

 Déjà vu!

Nicely done all round. Parkside chassis under the ex NE fridge van? Which Parkside chassis is masquerading as a pre-group NE item?

None!!, its the LMS Vac version with J Hangers , much better than the old Hornby dog it was originally fitted, sadly not the "reasonable" Hornby J hanger Vac version which the other Kit Kat van had fitted on purchase.
