Sources of 4mm Loco transfers?

Post by clive0r »

I'm after 7.5" or 9" numerals for a small cab-side on a black loco. An old HMRS sheet has only 12" numerals. Are there small numerals on the appropriate Fox sheet? Are there any other brands about.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Had to search again for this one, http://www.modelrailshop.co.uk/acatalog ... auge_.html
I found when requiring smaller sizes of numbers I used the BR Livery Sheets.

Just measured my PC Models (pre HMRS) transfers sheet 14 BR (Steam era) loco & coach insignia are approx -2.5 & 3mm high (cream).

Sheet 15 BR (BLue Livery) loco & coach insignia (same font but white) approx sizes 1, 2 & 2.5mm.

colour difference however is not a problem to me as I weather my models, hopefully someone else may have more accurate information for you.

Is this for LNER locos or BR? I'm sure the HMRS LNER sheets have the smaller letter sizes, both yellow and gold.

Whoops. My HMRS LNER sheet must have been really old as it has both gilt and yellow lettering. Having checked on the HMRS site there's now a dedicated yellow sheet with varying sizes of numerals.

Sorry to have troubled you.
