Well done Bachmann K3 is a classic

Post by Tom Quayle »

I have recently purchased a Bachmann K3 (BR late crest) and it is an exellent model. I have discovered that is more powerful than the prototype in scale terms being able to out pull a Hornby 9F up the gradient on my layout (well we always knew a new 9F was needed) and it looks good on anything.

I got a K3 on Sunday At Warley. The one with the early crest. Its stunning. Havn't had chance to really test its pulling power yet, but that should change on Thursday Night up at the Boston MRS.

Mad about the LNER, BR Eastern region in the 50's, Rail Blue Diesels and Sectorisation era.
