If your parents are like the big RTR manufacturers I think you ought to get them to be specific about WHICH CHRISTMAS, otherwise you may be waiting even longer than you currently expect!

Mine has arrived today, but she's staying in the postage packaging and has been shuffled away for Christmas.

Barnums and clerestory stock at the ready...

Anything weird or unusual will catch my interest, be it an express or locomotive

I'm also drawn to the commemorative, let's hope Bachmann will produce 6165 Valour.

Runs nicely just as received, with nothing yet added or removed. Colour seems quite reasonable compared to the unknown accuracy of my existing GC liveried B2. Certaily pulls 5 coaches with ease, 3 x GC Edwardian non-corridors and two brass Barnums. I daren't try the ultimate haulage ability until run-in.

Did somebody mention clerestories too? A selection of pictures:

Beautiful :D

Upon looking at Ian's weathered 62690 at Peterborough, I'll probably have to trim those decorative front frame extention pieces so she can handle my curves.

One thing's for certain though, that front coupling will be coming straight off of mine.

Have you tried to fit the guard irons yet?

Would be great if they do the J11 PomPom in GCR Livery like the 8K last year ago. Also some Barnums and Valour would be great...Why not?
