As for my other comment, that is based on not only my own observations of pricing and finish, but also other peoples more 'informed' observations and statements.
We're getting well off the D & S Dyno topic now, so maybe any further Golden Age discussion should be in a suitable dedicated thread with a link back to this one as a reference. I will however add, in case this is the last on the Golden Age models, that I wonder if the W1 pictured is the OO Finecast example and it would look a lot better if the loco were not sitting something like six scale inches too high on its frames. For the Garratt I suspect DJH O gauge, with something questionable about the cab height above the boiler.

I think once we start building all our dynamometer coaches, it might be a good idea to post pictures as guides and the like for others who may have picked up a kit this time around - as well as for the future if the kit is made available again?

Anything weird or unusual will catch my interest, be it an express or locomotive
I'm also drawn to the commemorative, let's hope Bachmann will produce 6165 Valour.
There's a review of the two 'Golden Age' versions (23591 c1938 with a white roof and 902502 as in the NRM with what looks like a brown roof) in the February edition of BRM on pages 82-83. They look beautiful models with 'engravings' on the clerestory windows but at £345 each, that's a lot to pay for one coach.
With relation to Transfers . I have just obtained a set of HMRS NER Sheet for Loco and coaches thereon is the Dynamometer Car lettering . Just need to start building mine now!!.
