I one of my recent posts about modelling a shed with alot of ex LNER locomotives in the 1950s/60s I had a reply saying Barnsley would be a great choice with 20 O4s does any one have any pictures of the shed. Track plans and a list of locos allocated to the shed would be greatly recived thanks for any help and thanks for the idea Colombo :mrgreen:

barnsley shed

Hi ,
there is a good picture of Barnsley shed in the book LNER lines in the Yorkshire Ridings p43 by Challenger pubs.
The signal box (Jumble Lane) was still there when I last went there about 1999 but the shed site is now occupied by Tescos,
