History of Quad Art Set No. 74

Post by Norfolkman »

Hi,

I'm researching the history of the North Norfolk Railway's Quad Art coaches (Set No. 74 - LNER coach nos 48861/2/3/4 - BR nos E86384/5/6/7E) for an article in our house magazine 'Joint Line'. I have copies of the Holerith records cards, but these don't give me as much info. as I had expected. Harris' Gresley and LNER Coach books don't give much other than generic info. Is any member of this forum able to provide me with set specific details such as works entry dates, refurb dates, withdrawal dates etc. Any help would be much appreciated. As would generic details about the GN Section Quads - set formations etc.

Thanks

Steve
