I thought these railway photos posted in the York Press may be of interest. The last one with a wooden bodied carriage in service in 1964 is very nice.

Thanks for the link. That's a nice shot of the petrol railcar at York on the cover - is there an opportunity for the Railcar gang to get some more publicity there?
