Finningley Station
During work on the East Coast mainline, trains were sometimes diverted to Gainsborough through Finingley where I lived as a youngster. Those days were terrific as I did not have to go to Doncaster to see the mainline express pacific locos. I'm looking for a diagram/photos of the track layout at Finningley which I recall had a coal siding, cattle dock, goods shed and yard crane. Can anyone help?

Re: Finningley Station
There are some photos here that might help:

There wasn't much! A goods bay and perhaps a siding - perhaps the photos might jog your memory.

Re: Finningley Station
Here is a signalling plan for Finningley at 1946: http://www.signalbox.org/diagrams.php?id=1042
The layout is typically comprehensive as at other stations on the Joint line, I think "Pywipe Junction" is belittling it slightly.

Re: Finningley Station
No need for sarcasm - I was working off the photos, which are quite indistinct.
If you had replied earlier my post would have been unnecessary.
