BOOKS on the MSL, GCR.

I am the proud owner of Dow's three volume history of the GCR, but as a modeller I am quite interested in the actual detailed info on the stock, buildings, etc etc.

Are there any contemporary books, especially on wagons which deal with the GCR fleet? Any leads would be good!

The first volume of Peter Tatlow's LNER wagons, the reissued and expanded version, covers the GCR.

It's available at a discount from Mainly Trains at the moment.

that is perfect- Not been able to browse through these books when released, its very tricky to guess which pregroup companies these sort of books detail. Looks like i'll be heading over that way too!
