Trafalgar Goods/Manors: late 60s

Post by Atlantic 4433 »

Hello all,
I'm a relative new face to this fantastic forum so forgive me if I'm going over well trodden ground.
I'm interested in the Manors East to Heaton stretch of the ECML and other lines thereabouts as they were around 1967-70.
I'd like to know a couple of things. Were the Trafalgar (south) goods yard and Granary sidings south of Manors still used/shunted at this late stage and if so by what? Similarly, what locos&traffic were seen on the Quayside Branch after the electrics had gone up to the abandonment in 1969?
Many thanks in advance for any enlightenment.
