Request for information from LNER Magazine 1927 & Railway Observer 1958

Post by Rlangham »

Don't know if anyone has access to either of these publication, but if possible I would really appreciate scans (ideally high-res for any images) of the following articles:

LNER Magazine Vol 17 (1927, presumably the carry-on from the NER Magazine) page 84 'Tanfield self-acting incline'

Railway Observer Volume 28 (1958) 'Tanfield Line Yesterday and Today', pages 95, 131 and 163 (seems odd having it spread across over thirty different pages)

Also, would appreciate a copy of 'World's Oldest Railway' also on the subject of the Tanfield branch by the Newcomen Society, December 1946 if anyone has that

Thanks,
Rob

Thanks Pete,

That's the LNER magazine sorted, the Railway Observer is proving a lot harder to source though! Can anyone else help?

Hello Rob,

If no one can come up with a copy of Railway Observer Volume 28 then this one is available from eBay, but at a price!
