Is there any information available concerning the 1935-40 New Works Programme, particularly regarding Ilford Station? I'm trying to establish whether there were any plans to rebuild the station as per Manor Park, Forest Gate etc. or anything else that was never carried due to the War.

As far as I can ascertain in my immediately available sources there were not any substantial alterations planned or subsequently carried out at Ilford; the main works being the flyover and slewing of running lines on the London side.
