LNER Whittlesford to London 1941

Post by mikefranzak »

Hi,
Pardon my ignorance, but I'm hoping someone in this forum might be able to help me out with information I've been "unsuccessfully" researching for several weeks.

My specific question: Does anyone have any information on train service from Whittlesford Train Station to London (most likely Liverpool Street Station) circa 1941? I believe LMS did a route from Cambridge to Kings Cross via Bedford and Lutton, but that doesn't help me. I could not find anything that said LMS serviced Whittlesford (now Whittlesford Pkwy) during WWII. However, I do believe LNER serviced Whittlesford during WWII.

Thanks in advance.
