Rail chair

Post by neilgow »

Some people I know have in their possession a railchair with the letters LNEC cast onto it.

Would anyone know what they stand for assuming it is a LNER item?

Many thanks.

I would imagine that like the Gresley bogie axle box covers it denotes the area of the LNER it was made for, in this case the Great Central section.

Sawdust.

Any photo possible?
A C chair may be part of an S+C layout.
