Happy New Year all - 10.30am on the 1st January here but guess still before midnight over your way.
I am particularly keen to get some photographic evidence of a (any) A1s or A3s working the West Riding Pullman and especially carrying the express headboard on the loco. Steven Banks mentions in LNER Passenger Trains and Formations (p176/7) that 'Bayardo' was seen in front of a 6 car set arriving at Leeds Central and somewhere else I have seen reference to 'Victor Wild' working the WRP but 'proof' of any A1/3 loco - and date if possible - would be a good way to start 2018. (I have plenty of photos of C1s and some C7s working the express but the shots of A1 or A3 Pacifics are somewhat elusive).
