Could not get that link to work. I tried putting in www. but still no go. Is it correct as you gave it?52D wrote:cop for this link http://fyad. org/t6us comment on film and list locos. my soundcard is not working so i can only watch,
It should work now http://fyad.org/t6us
The problem with the first version was a space had been left before the org:
Its about the Mid Suffolk Light Railway. I didn't get any sound either but it is still well worth watching. Possibly filmed on the oocasion of the line's closure in July 1952?
Locos I noticed were a J19 at the start of the film, looked like 64641. Then nice clean J15 65447 on the MSLR branch train. Later on Briannia 70010 stops with a main line train.
Thanks for finding this clip.

Yes, continuity is not a strong point of this film. The A4 on leaving York is 4464 but becomes 4465 by Newcastle. And what about the same crew throughout from KX to Edinburgh.silver fox wrote:Is it me, or does 4489 turn in to 10000 at one point, then back, just before leaving KX, then at a few point en-route!
