Cadder Yard was (or is) the railway yard situated between Bishopbriggs and Lenzie on the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway.(I got this from Wikepedia)

What is interesting is that there are more longer distance trains among the arrivals which might suggest that traffic from the north of England was arriving at Meadows for sorting and passing on to Central Scotland destinations.

The WTT also gives details Meadows Yard having four Pilot or Shunting engines which worked as follows:

No 1 Goods 1215 Mon to 0600 Sat Shunt and Assist
No 2 Goods 0600 Mon to 2200 Sat Shunt and Assist
No 3 Goods 1205 Mon to 0600 Sun Shunt, Trip and Assist
No4 Goods 0600 Mon to 0600 Sun Shunt, Trip and Assist

No3 goods makes SX trip at 1730 to Portobello, thence LE and guard to Craigentinny. Works lift to Portobello thence LE and guard to Meadows.

All 4 were provided by St.Margarets Shed (64A)
