Horncastle B Set 44161/44162

Post by J Gleeson »

I am trying to locate a drawing of this set-so far with no success. The coaches were rebuilt from GNR railmotors-It is important to realise that all six coaches were different. Can any member assist?

I think a drawing will be difficult, unless you try someone like the NRM who might have the original diagrams.

There is a photograph in "Locomotives of the LNER" Part 10B (Railcars & Electrics). Fig.9 (the same page has 1 picture of each pair). It is more of an edge-on view than the picture on my pages (44141/2).
