Open Day photographs

Post by jwealleans »

Take a look here http://www.rmweb.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4748 at some fascinating photos that an RMWeb member is posting. Towards the bottom there are some shots of an open day which someone has identified as Durham Elvet, July 1930.

The whole collection is excellent and deserves to be viewed.

Yes some good pictures of Durham - how it has changed!
(in 1995, I used to live near the viaduct)

I think the Hush Hush was a lovely piece of design, shame it was a failure and was broken up :(
