Allan Garraway

Post by neilgow »

I have just been informed that he passed away in his sleep in the Highland town of Newtonmore recently. Cremation in Inverness on the 8th January.

Allan, I believe was a Premium apprentice at Doncaster Works and spent some time at Kings Cross Depot before becoming General Manager of the Festiniog Railway for nearly thirty years. Retiring from that post in the 1980's and moving to Boat of Garten with his wife.
