I'm trying to confirm the status of persons employed as Superintendents in the Marine division of the LNER in the 1920s-1960s. Mr James Rodger was Superintendent (South Scotland) in the 1930s but also seems to have had an involvement with the Humber Ferries.
Mr William Douglas, who was Chief Engineer of the DEPV Talisman including war service also went to New Holland as ? in the 1950s.
Any information on these two gents and any other personnel involved with LNER Clyde and Humber Paddle Steamers would be welcome.

Re: LNER Marine Personnel
Hi,
I know this is a very late reply but I'm just looking into bits about my grandad, William Douglas.
My Nanny (his daughter) has lots of information about him.
If this reply reaches you, I'd be more than happy to help you.
Thanks.
