Iam looking info for my grandson [jack's g,g son]. Did he drive flying scotsman.

But, you have given very little to help those who will be able to assist.

Any further information may give us a chance. Significant dates for Jack Moore being first amongst them.

I have checked the 1911 Census and there are about 40 J Moores listed, but none of them aspires to be a railway employee, and none comes from either London (Kings+ area) or Newcastle. 1911 seems a good starting place because the person in question must have been born C1885 and would therefore have been around 50 in 1935.

There was a Jack (Jacky) Moor at Gateshead but he would be born around the early 20s.
