Doncaster Plant film

Post by billbedford »

I found this on the bfi site.

Not much of a plot, but at about 2:25 there is a break and then a section that shows women crossing the bridge. I guess these would mainly be drawing-office tracers and such like, but the interesting thing is that many of them are wearing similar double-breasted jackets with six or eight large buttons. I wondered if this was some sort of official? uniform and who it might be expected to wear it.

Oh well, I guess the BFI deem that nobody outside of the U.K. would have any interest in the subject.
