Shildon Wagon Works.

Post by rover3.5 »

Hello,
would any one remember staff at the Shildon Wagon Works, particularly in the Wages office.
As a nephew of one Mr. Frederick Railston, as far as I recollect, he worked there throughout his entire working life, some 55 years.

Any information would be appreciated.

Also, my maternal grandfather was, I think, Yard Master at Newport Marshalling Yard, around, and pre 1947, as above, any information would be gratefully received.

Thanks rover3.5
