George Henry Cadle / Derek Simmons

I like many others am researching my ancestors, namely my Grand Father George Henry Cadle who I believe was a driver of the Flying Scotsman 4472 out of Kings X during the period of the 1940's/early 1950's. At some point I believe my Cousin Derek Simmons worked with him as a Fireman. Any help you are able to give would be most appreciated.
