Information wanted for a Danish Family, Can you halp ?

Post by Lancashire Lad »

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to find out if anyone can help with a bit of imformation for a very good Danish family.
Alice is trying to trace her relation William Jack Dunster born in Tenterden, Kent in 1872
moved to Newcastle and in 1924 lived at 31 Rothbury Terrace, Heaton, Newcastle on Tyne
and worked for the LNER.
I know its a long shot but if you dont ask!
Thank you

The April 1944 edition of the LNER Magazine listed the death of a W J Dunster, Driver, Heaton Junction on 7/2/44 in the obituary list.

Do they have access to census information?

1881 William J Dunster, aged 9, b. Tenterden

Parents Edwin and Elizabeth Dunster, aged 47 and 39 respectively.

Both born in Tenterden, plus William has 3 sisters and a brother at that stage.

I can delve further if they require....

Hi John,
thank you so much for info, Yes I think they do
what I have done is sent them the Website link to the LNER so they
will be able to get any information first hand, instead of me sending it to them
via E-mail.
Thank you for the offer of further information on the Dunster Family, thats very kind of you
but I think they might have it, I am not sure of course so I will let them know of your offer.
Thanks once again
Dave

Hi Gentlemen :D
Thank you to the Lancashire Lad for helping us getting startet. And thank you very much as well to everybody else for their reply.
I know very little at the moment and welcome all the information I can get that will make me able to track what happened to William Jack Dunster and perhaps get into contact with his ancesters.

I live approximately 20 yards from 31 Rothbury Terrace, so if you need a photo of their relation's former house, just let me know!

Cheers,
