Ex LNER loco collection . . . going . . . going . . .

Post by Meg Merrilies » Wed Oct 11, 2017 5:37 pm

Well, not gone yet.

I have a fairly extensive collection of 00 gauge locos up for sale.
The lot includes :-

Gresley A4s –- 60009, 12, 24, 27 & 31. (All corridor tenders except No. 9) [4 Hornbys & 1 Bachmann)
Three Gresley A3s -– 60035, 43 & 89
Three of Haymarket’s Peppercorn A2s -– 60529, 534 & 537.
All of Haymarket’s Peppercorn A1s –- 60152, 159, 160, 161 & 162.
Two Gresley V2s –- 60816 & 60951.
Two Thompson B1s -– 61244 (‘Strang Steel’) & 61354.
Two Gresley V1 tank locos –- 67610 & 67666.
One Gresley J39 –- 64986.
(All, except three of the above, were shedded at Haymarket. The J39 was Dalry Road and one B1 and one V1 were St Margaret’s)

One Gateshead Peppercorn A1 -- 60115 'Meg Merrilies'.

. . . and three ex-LMS locos --
Stanier Black 5 -- 44762.
Stanier (un-rebuilt) Royal Scot –- 46151
Stanier Jubilee –- 45609.

With the exception of one, all of these locos run perfectly. The A3, 60089 runs but with a hint of hesitation at times.
All, except 60816 & 61244 are in their original boxes. These two DO have boxes but not the originals.
Most have only ever been test run and have spent their time in a display case.
Most are in brand new condition.

Anyone interested in any of these locos please PM me.
Of course, anyone brave enough to make a humungous offer for the lot can also PM me!

Hello Scott,

I have sent you a PM (Personal Message) but it still appears in my 'outbox' -- I think it should be in 'Sent items' . . . so, maybe you haven't received it?
Let me know if you received it.

Hi I've had your reply being a new member I can't send messages back apparently. Could you send an email address via pm for me to reply privately.

Kind regards Scott

Hi, I'm on the lookout for an a3, preferably with a non-corridor streamlined tender, for an EM conversion so wondered if 60035 was still available and if so what sort of price you'd be asking for it?
Cheers
Steve
