Happy New Year y'all! (and I'm back in Texas)

I was asleep by local new year - but we clocked a few state parks and a space museum that day (we skipped the missile museum in the end). The hotel we had booked fro the 31st had closed. Luckily they hadn't charged my CC but they were more than happy to take my reservation! We were looking forward to it as one of the more interesting looking places, but ended up at a motel on the Interstate. So our New Year was the next night in a cabin in the Jemez Mountains, New Mexico - no cell phone reception, let alone internet :-)
