A nose for trouble ??

Post by manna »

G'day Gents

Here's some nasty looking pictures of myself, not because I'm vain ! but because I've just had a cancer cut out, I have a couple of plasters on my nose, but the cut is from my eye to the end of my nose and then down to the side of the nose, I can now scare old ladies and young children :D

Yeah, you're right, "nasty" and your nose looks a mess too. :D

Good to hear the op went OK. Hope you're soon able to see past your wounds and entertain us with more modelling.

Hope all goes well.

My mother-in-law had surgery at the end of last year. Sounds like they are confident they got virtually all of it, and she is now nearing the end of chemo and radiation.

G'day Gents

Thank you for the replies and best wishes, all of the scabs have now fallen off, I have a few small indentations (stich marks) and some redness along the cut lines, one party trick I can do now is hold a ice cube to my nose and not feel a thing ! I suppose feeling may return in the future..........

Hi Manna, glad to hear you are on the mend. Here is a photo to cheer you up a bit, from the collection of my friend Dick Abbott. I think it was taken at Heaton in 57, but I would have to check that.
