Yes Bill, my background is actually in the Earth sciences (I even used to work in the oil industry and still attend local oil industry presentations) - those two articles are a load of nonsense - up there with the article at the top of this thread about 3d printing.

Whoever wrote them has a significant (or deliberate) misunderstanding of what the climate is and how to present statistical data.

All is explained. The Daily Mail and the Sun are the newspaper equivalents of Fox News.....
