Will it rain today - a scientific approach

Post by hq1hitchin »

This website is quite accurate when it comes to saying whether you're likely to get a soaking, although it runs 30 minutes behind the current time:

If the weather come from the west it will rain.
If it is windy then goes cold in winter, then warms up it will snow.

Failing that always take your rain mac with you .
cheers

I rely on our local tv mast - it's high.

If I can see it, I know it's going to rain...

There is one sure method of making it rain - forget to take raincoat with you!
The converse is also true - take an umbrella and the sun will shine......

Not bad, but the best way in my experience is to go on a sailing holiday. It might have been blue skies for weeks, but as soon as Yours Truly arrives with telescope and book of knots, it rains. And rains... I was getting so good at this a few years ago, I gave serious thought to hiring myself out as a rainmaker.

G'Day Gents

I wonder if Autocar has been sailing in Queensland lately, judging by the amount of rain they've had, he has
