Proberbly digging up an old arguement but the look of the thing why not just paint the other side and get ready for the mainline rather than covering up something that good. Money that is spent on streamling could have been better spent putting it back on the mainline. Wasn't it a few month ago that the NRM was talking about slimming down its stock because of the amount there was.

On the subject it is worth reading the editors overview at the beginning of the latest issue of steam railway. I talks about the HRF money getting less because of 2012 and say that people 'shouldn't put all there eggs in one basket'. Which anoyed me slightly as money from the magazine only gos to the NRM so people have no choice
