Ahem. It's spelt "professional" .

At the risk of sounding like a Grumpy Old Man (difficult, I know, when I am), I can only hope that the new NYMR forum offers more than the over-zealous moderation and interminable "Black 5s are great/WD Austerities are super/hoorah for the GWR" threads which seemed to me (in my purely personal opinion) to characterise the old one.

Still, the NYMR is such a fantastic enterprise that I may give it a whirl and keep The Gnoom company. My Spring edition of Moorsline finally arrived last night (what the hell are they thinking of with that smoke deflector proposal for 6619!?), and I'm very tempted to buy some NYMR shares to support the exciting "Destination Whitby" project. Dame Bullhead and I will be spending our usual week in Grosmont to coincide with the Autumn Steam Gala later this year and I'm already misty-eyed at the prospect.

I did wonder about that (as well as the possibility that zero could be misread as capital "o" and vice-versa), which is why I was particularly careful to input the verification code exactly as it appeared on screen the second time. And the third...

Anyway, thanks for the advice.
