Diesel Class 90s?

Post by Mr Bunt »

One of the most interesting things I've seen in a railway book for ages (ISBN 978-1-910463-87-1). When did Greater Anglia start converting their Class 90 locos to diesel?

Can't even think how it would be done - or why, because I understand they're very capable machines as they are

they're very capable for the job they do. Even if Greater Anglia wanted to convert their class 90's to diesel (which they don't) it would be a waste of money because they're due to go off lease soon
