FR baltic tanks

Post by Tom Quayle »

Although Iam currently working on modelling Annersley I have found alot of pictures and info on Furness Railway Baltic tanks that worked Carlisle-Carnforth passenger trains in the 1920/30s. I would like to model one of these in FR red as a local link on my railway as I live in Barrow and the Baltics were normally switched on trains running the full length of the cumbrian coast in the same way as mainline expresses had loco changes at Carlisle. Does any one know if there is a kit avalable.
The weather here is Baltic but so were the tank engines

There is a kit available in 7mm scale for the Baltic tank, but I suspect you want to build one in 4 mm.

However the 7m version is made by Gladiator Models of
