00 Dapol Brakevan

Post by Kestrel »

MR no 243 arrived today and there was a section entitled 'Incoming: Warley Special'. Listed was an OO gauge Dapol BR 20T Brakevan with its price listed as £79.95. I know prices are going up all the time but £80 for a brakevan is ridiculous.

I suspect a doubling up of the 'O'

Agreed, it'll be 7mm. Not aware they're doing any new 4mm wagons

As my grandfather used to constantly say - 'measure twice and cut once'. It's the BR version of the former LNER 20T Brake Van, with extended footboards and 4-pane door, as in the Slater's kit. Also coming in O will be the Y1 and Y3 Sentinels, BR Mk1 coaches and various other RTR products.

and for a list of the other items in development: http://www.hattons.co.uk/projectupdates

Best change the gauge in the thread title to correct the inaccuracy...
